Adult Learning

We run a range of adult learning programmes throughout the year to meet a wide range of interests and needs. These are run by us or in partnership with other organisations such as Merton Adult Education and Children's Centres.

One of our most popular programmes is our Family Workshops. These are practical sessions that build on parenting and life skills. And, as well as dealing with some important issues are also highly informative and good fun. We are awaiting further funding before we start our nest programme.

Or you may want to enrol in one of our learning programmes, from ESOL (English as a Second Other Language) to learning the basic computers (Family IT) or Easy Cook, a range of healthy cooking experiences run in local schools.

Literacy and Numeracy

ESOL

Family Cooking

Five weeks of learning about food hygiene at level 1 followed by five weeks of fun cooking with the children putting it all together. For details e-mail: info@stmarkscentre.co.uk

Community Development and Health Course

This Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust accredited. course is designed for those people who want to understand how their community works and how they can get involved. It runs12 weeks between 9.45am and 2.30pm.

Silver Surfer
