Mental Health Services

Did you know that one in three people will experience mental health problems at sometime in their lifetime?

Our mental health work is delivered primarily through Sonic, a Drop-In music and support group, that provides opportunities for its users to improve and maintain their well-being. The group is very much user led with members contributing collectively towards how the group is run. Its work is designed to be inclusive and promote better mental health & well being and work towards recovery and a fulfilled life. During the group individual support sessions are available for members to discuss a range of issues and to get help in resolving these.

Sonic is a friendly, accessible and caring group of members with an interest in performing and supporting performance. The group puts on four concerts a year for its members, friends and anyone else who want to give them their support. They start their groups with a discussion group and are always looking for ideas for new things to do and share whilst making new friends and supporting each other. An ideal group for anyone on their journey through mental health who want to contribute as part of their recovery process. Refreshments area available during the session.
